📍 Groenlo, The Netherlands | ⏱️ 32-38 hrs/week

This summer, Brasserie Posthuis opened its doors in the historic town of Groenlo, near the German border. We’re building something new: a fresh kitchen inspired by the flavours of Rome, Vienna and Paris, with room for your ideas.

Now we’re looking for a skilled independent chef to help shape the future of our kitchen.

What you’ll be doing

  • Preparing both lunch and dinner dishes according to our menu standards (classics with a European twist)
  • Following recipes as well as preparing mise en place efficiently and on time
  • Ensuring consistent quality in taste, presentation, and portioning – even during busy hours
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and organised according to HACCP guidelines
  • Managing kitchen stock and placing orders when necessary
  • Supporting and instructing kitchen assistants and trainees
  • Participating in kitchen meetings and contributing ideas for new dishes
  • Taking responsibility for smooth kitchen operations when the head chef is not present
